Parents and Friends of

Scoil Chríost Rí

Our Parents Association is called Parents and Friends of Scoil Chríost Rí as we want to ensure that no one feels excluded. Many grandparents and other members of the extended family bring and collect children, attend the Christmas Concert etc. and may wish to have an involvement with the Association and participate in some of our activities. All are welcome!

We meet once a month during term time to exchange views, make new friends and conjure up ways to add another dimension to school life. Most of our activities are fun-orientated. For example, at Christmas some of our members are transformed into elves and assist Santa visit the boys and distribute sweets at the school. At Easter some "Friends of the Easter Bunny" visit the classes to distribute little Easter Eggs to all the boys.

Our usual activities include arranging talks and classes on a wide variety of topics Last term we organised a very successful Parenting Course while this term we have organised Computer Classes and will be hosting a talk on Childrens' Health early in March. We also hope to offer Pilates classes later in the spring Other activities last term included a Fun Table Quiz and a very entertaining Wine Tasting Evening.

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 8o'clock in the school. Feel free to join us at any time.

You can contact us by writing to The Parents and Friends of Scoil Chriost Ri, c/o The Secretary's Office, Scoil Chriost Ri, Turner's Cross, or by e-mail at parents@scoilchriostri.ie . We look forward to seeing you!
